In the past one would have to reach a certain status in life to be considered to have a perspective on life. You would have to be at an age of social acceptance to be given the acknowledgement that you even had a perspedtive worthy of others to cdonsider. Typically that perspective would be from a limited view of the world and opne that they, the pervider of the persepective did not want changed. Today, a child of 5 can shed light on the world as they have both experienced it and wished it was or was not. These realities have changed how we connect with one anoher and the conversations are more delicate due to the experiencial story of one compared to that of another. Let us now use this arena to share these perspecdtive with the one intent. The intent of listening, learning and respecting the point of view of another. As I have said in my live chats, I may not want ot be your friend, rather I wish to understand you and how you developed your point of view. This takes commitment. This takes a desire to build mutually collaborative points of view, especially when they differ. What are your processes?   Check It! As with our cultural identity, your nationality is dictated by both your place of birth and the document we must carry when we travel called a Passport. Yet there is an impactful conversation we will encounter as we make our way through life. A conversation with others we encounter that will impact us in ways we do not expect and in some cases cause us to experience anxiety, stress and depression. It is the conversation that questions our nationality from people who by and large cannot do anything to us yet cause us to exhibit anxiety, stress and depression.
