With immigrants like my parents coming to England in 1956 and seeding me into the culture, I say firsthand what the confrontations of class war, religious differences and cultural ignorance meant to many. To counter this, I embedded my mind in the history of the land, the only land I knew and drew great strength in learning that their history was the same as most across the world.
Watch this mini docudrama on the blight of the Protestants and Catholics and you can simply replace one faith with another and throughout time see how we cannibalize one another instead of learning to cultivate the intellectual capital brewing inside each and every one of us. Yes, we can continue to berate one another and sell ourselves on the concept of ‘scarcity’, and ‘limited resources’. Today America has a wall dividing two countries which are really one. Ireland had and still has a wall dividing one country into two!

This miniseries brought back so many memories of my childhood both while I spent the first 6 to 7 years of my life in London and especially when I went to Prior Park Prep in Cricklade, Swindon, and on to Prior Park College, Bath where I met young minds from all over the world who laid the foundation of my perspectives that I own today. Diversity demystifies!
