Nurdles, Not NOODLES. A Current Threat to Your Health

As consumers continue to purchase merchandise it would be incumbent for them to monitor the effect on their health as to how the manufacturing of these products and related packaging processes impacts their health.

You may recall an article I wrote about the effect of manufacturing materials and production processes that cause contamination and subsequent hermaphrodite changes in our biology. It is our expressed concerns to the manufacturers, production and distribution channel business partners that as consumers, we hold the mantel of what is acceptable and what is not. If we are to manage our planet sustainably, all aspects of a product’s life cycle must be addressed and managed accordingly. Understanding the food chain you can clearly see that this is another blatant disregard to the health of the planet and its inhabitants. We know the impact will take a few years to be recognized and so it is our responsibility to put into place the correct checks and balances to ensure better manufacturing, production and packaging are adhered to.

A nurdle is a small plastic pellet used to create virtually anything plastic. From plastic bottles to automobile parts, they’re widely used in plastic production. They are the raw material for everything that’s made of plastic. But even if they’re tiny, their damage is giant and immeasurable.
