How to identify your latent interests that are dormant and unused?
In my course Managing Life’s Changes 4 Success, I wrote that is is essential to first look at yourself and identify your interests. If you are with family, relationship responsibilities along with the financial obligations you have pilled on, this is the best time to reflect.
Why???????????????
Because you have the motivation and not PANIC! DESPERATION! DREDD!
Reflect on your past experiences:
Think about activities or hobbies you enjoyed but may have set aside for various reasons. These activities may have sparked an interest in a particular field or skill you can pursue in your career.
Take a personality test:
Many personality tests are available online that can help you understand your strengths, values, and interests. These tests can give you insights into potential careers that might be a good fit for you.
Try something new:
Experiment with new activities or hobbies you’ve always been curious about. This can help you discover new interests and passions you may not have been aware of. Seek out mentors and advisors: Talk to people who are already doing what you want to do or who have experience in the field you’re interested in. They can provide valuable guidance and insights. Get involved in your community: Volunteer, join a club, or participate in a hobby that you’re passionate about. This can help you discover new passions and skills and make a positive impact.
